Here are some photographs of Whiteadder Junction under construction. These pictures will be kept on the site for a few months, but since the layout is now "finished", a series of photographs taken by Tony Wright for British Railway modelling is also included.

The Layout Under Construction

Early days, showing the open top baseboard structure and the beginnings of 
tracklaying. The main material used is 9mm WBP plywood. Baseboard joints use 
EMGS dowels and over-centre clips.

Some time later. The scenery begins to take shape and some of the (unfinished) 
buildings are in place. Scenic contours are plaster, applied directly to fly screen 
mesh. Buildings are mainly of plasticard.
